Discovery Education Webinar Sessions
I signed up to attend a webinar session presented by David Warlick (one of my favorite speakers). Webinar sessions are presentations that you "attend" by using your Web browser and multimedia tools (like the Flash player and Windows Media Player) that supplement your browser. This series is hosted by Discovery Education. You visit their Web page and sign-up to be an attendee. Only about 200 people (!) can attend at a single session and I signed up a couple weeks ago. Will Richardson will be doing the next one on December 13.
This Discovery Education EdTechConnect series has been having one of these since January of 2006 with one per month. Past sessions are archived at the Web site so that you can experience them in your spare time. Take a look at this....

I attended this webinar and you need to have access to a phone to "listen" to the speaker. Some teachers that attended didn't know this. David Warlick was great as always and leaves all of us with new ideas to explore...
