Graduation Bear
As yesterday was Mom's Day, my husband Steve gave me my combo graduation present and Mom's Day gift all at once.
May I introduce, Lesley, my new caramel Vermont Teddy Bear. She was wearing my new jewels, a cultured pearl and diamond necklace (not shown here). As Lesley is a surname and not gender specific, I thought it appropriate to name her after Lesley University.
Note her mini-computer also non-gender specific (not a PC or a Mac). It doesn't function [except maybe for bear computing] but it is the size computer I enjoy and displays a replica of the Web page for the Vermont Teddy Bear Co. where this teddy was "born".
Yesterday, my personal photographer and friend, Kathy Wasik took some posed photos of me wearing my graduation attire and I printed one and put it in the frame with the special tassel I bought bearing [yes, that's intentional] the Lesley colors. I located my high school graduation tassel [Cranston High School West, Class of 1965], and my bachelors' tassel [Rhode Island College, Class of 1969] and squashed them in the frame too. How many of you know where your tassels are? No?, well, go look for them; I'll wait here.
I will be posting some photos of the graduation after next Sunday!
