It Works!
"There must be a way" I thought, "to connect my iPod to my Bose Wave?" (circa 2001) and searched the Web to find out what kind of cable is needed for the task. I discovered that this cable is called an audio dubbing cable.
After finding and reading the Bose Wave manual, I hopped in the car and went to my local Radio Shack where the salesperson told me I needed this cable [$7.99 plus tax] to make it happen. She also pointed out that it would drain the battery of my iPod and showed me a device that holds the iPod, and the cabling plus has an AC power cord. [about $40]. She was very helpful; giving me a hand with this problem. [see the symbolic hand in the photo]
As I have an extra cable and an iPod charger, I passed on that for now.
