Timelines

Web Resources for Educators by Midge Frazel

What are Timelines?
Timelines are an important tool for 21st century classroom projects as their creation
teaches students to organize dates, places, people and events in a visually stimulating order.

Timelines are usually chronological and help explain cause and effect in historical documents.
With the emphasis on primary source materials use and understanding within curriculum
plus the new focus on creativity, using timelines in a project can meet specific goals in a new way.
